Halloween

Halloween is also known as All Saints´Eve. It's a festivity celebrated on october 31th,  the eve of the Western Christian feast of All Hallow's Day It's commonly believed that many Halloween traditions originated from the ancient Celtic harvest festival Samhain, and that this Gaelic observance was Christianized by the early chuch.

It celebration is common in many countries, but  mainly I like The United States traditions because I think that they produce an excellent show. I love the fact that all houses are bloodcurdling decorated and everybody is dressed up for this day. It´s like an especial and scary atmosphere, where all kids go out to ask for trick or treat with costumes of zombies, ghosts, witches, and others!!! Also the families  carving pumpkins into jack-o'-lanterns, lighting bonfires, apple bobbing  and divination games, playing pranks, visiting haunted attractions, telling scary stories and watching horror films. So It's a whole day of terror!!!

I think in Chile Halloween is so boring because only a few people celebrate it, and for that the creepy magic isn't created. I would like we celebrate this festivity as in the United States.
