A succesful singer!!

I don`t have a favorite singer, but If I have to choose one, she will be Taylor Swift, because  I like her music style and most of her songs!!. She started to sing country music when she was a teenager. Now  she is a very famous and succesful woman and she sings mostly pop music. She has won a lot of awards like: 10 Grammy Awards, 19 American Music Awards, and others. Also, by the beginning of 2016, Swift had sold more than 40 million albums.

I started to listen to her when I was 12, so I know most of her songs. I have her last CD too, it's called 1989 (her birthday).  

Other thing that I like of her is that her concerts are so exciting, with a lot of lights, images, show, change of customs, dancers, etc. So you will have a lot of fun!!!

I don`t have a favorite song because I like all of them, mostly of her last CD. So i can't decide only one.

The best technological device!!

Hi everyone, today I will write about my favorite piece of technology!!

For me, the laptop is the best technological device, because it has many apps in only one piece: camera, games, you can use social medias a lot, do some work, talk with other people, watch some series or movies, and finally,  it isn`t so big but at the same time it isn`t small.

I had my fist  laptop 6 years ago when I was in 8th grade. It was wonderful because at that moment this device wasn`t so common, so I had to learn how to use it by myself, but it didn`t take me long :)  Now it`s my second laptop and I usually use it to watch series or movies (when I have time ), watch some sports (because I don`t have a tv) and do some homework. 

In the University you have to check your e-mail frequently and do a lot of work, so I always use my computer.  In this moment I think that my life without my laptop could be more dificult because it`s the best device to read university's books and to study.

My finall carrer decision

Today I will tell you how I decided to study Antropologhy with arqueologhy mention in Universidad de Chile!!

Once upon  a time, a little girl (me) watched a movie called '' The mummy'' and since that moment I`m intrested in Arqueologhy and all about Egiptian or ancient civilizations. So I was always watching many History channel's documentaries about that (now I'm not because I don`t have a tv and time :c)

When I grew up I thought about studying some careers

like veterinarian or geology, but finally I decided about my only option after I took the PSU : Arqueologhy.

In the university I have to study 2 years in common courses with all my classmates, but in the 3rd year, I have to decide about 3 mentions: Physical Antropologhy, Social Antropologhy or Arqueologhy, and as I told you before, I chose the last one.

This is my first year!! Until now everything is going well, I like my subjects and the university. All I want is to be in the 3rd year and finally study what I want. Then I hope to be working in Egypt and to find a lot of things about this culture like mummies, graves, pyramids, etc.

Hi everyone! In this post I will introduce myself!

My name is Gabriela Correa and I'm 18 years old. Well in a few hours I will be 19 :)

I was born in Punta Arenas and I studied at Nobelius highschool and I have lived all my life there until now and that’s because I’m in my first year of Antropologhy with Arqueologhy mentions in Universidad de Chile in Santiago. The career lasts 5 years and I’m planning to approve all my grades on time.

In Punta Arenas I lived with my mom, my 2 cats and my dog. I miss all of them so much, but I hope to travel there in June. Also my uncles, aunts and cousins live in this city so I wish to see them very soon.

I like listening to music, riding my bike and playing basketball. So now I´m in the basketball’s FACSO team and I´m trying to bring my bike from Punta Arenas to adapt myself to this big city.

Hi, I'm Gabriela!

Since I was 6 I have been learning  English, and I really like it. Now I'm 18 and I have some weakness about this language like talk with people, beacause I have problems with the meaning of some words and that because I`ve a really bad memory, so I usually forgot it. Another problem that I have is the order of difficult sentences. 

How I like English, I try to practice watching series or listenig music to improve my listening comprehension and learn some expressions, but this doesn`t have much results.

Now I'm doing an English class at the university and  when it finish, I hope to be able to talk a fluent English.
